CDI WILL NOT WORK WITH THE TJ
POWERSPORTS GT 150 OR 200. IT WILL ALSO NOT WORK ON THE MANCO 150
OR the SYM 150 from carter.
This is an A/C style Cdi which is most common in 99% of all GY6
50-150cc engines. Around 2007 some newer style gy6 engines with a
dc cdi came to the market. unfourtunatly, they did not change the
plug dtyle so you cannot go by the connection. There is a test
you v=can perform, also the dc style stock CDI is larger then the other
style. Though without both styles in hand you would not be able
to tell. We are going to get the measurements and pass them along
to you. The photo here shows both styles side by side, the larger
being the dc triggered that this unit will not work on
IT WILL WORK ON PRE 2007 TJ AND
CARTER BUGGIES, JUST NOT THE NEW MODELS. WE ARE SEARCHING FOR A
